CHESTER, PA: The Chester Water Authority has commenced work on two water system infrastructure projects along Meetinghouse Road and Blueball Avenue in Upper and Lower Chichester that will require road closures and detours that will impact motorists in the region.
During the week of July 30th, Chester Water Authority work crews will perform repairs to a 20inch diameter water main along Meetinghouse Road between Rogers Avenue and Iacono Court in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County. The road closure will occur during off-peak travel times on Monday, July 30, through Friday, August 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists will be directed to use Route 452 (Market Street), Ridge Road, Blueball Avenue and Chichester Avenue.
