CHESTER, PA: -In response to various media articles referencing chromium-6, CWA would like to assure our customers and the public that our drinking water is safe. CWA did monitoring for chromium-6 as required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Chester Water Authority (CWA) is in compliance with a 2012 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rule to monitor for total chromium and chromium-6 (hexavalent chromium) for 4 consecutive quarters between 2013-2015.
